currently not fabulous

Last night I was feeling more than just the usual "I'm-the-source-of-global-warming" warm, and checked the houses ancient thermostat.

It showed the inside of the house was around 85 degrees, and the A.C. was set at 78. (This is the original non-digital 17 year old thermostat.)

I turned the dial down to 68, and the air continued to blow warm.

Yay Texas! (Sidenote: It's supposed to be 98 degrees today (with a chance of N'Sync), AND we're having a party tonight! Double yay!!)

Seriously, the good news is that it konked out before the June 20th home warranty expiration.

There's always a silver lining, eh?

In an effort to remain positive, happy, and stuff, I'm going to share a few things that are currently fabulous. There are some things that I'd like to keep top-secret, but I'll share any way because I love you.

1. Bid Daddy's Roadhouse Barbeque. Incredible pulled-pork sandwhiches just up the road.

2. Blue Bell's Lowfat Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream. Please don't let the "lowfat" scare you. It tastes just like the real thing.

3. Summer peaches. I get tummy aches from eating too many.

4. San Martino's Vineyard. Just a stone's throw from my back door. I highly recommend the Syrah and Zin.

5. S-Factor Hair Care Products.

6. Frisco Roughrider Ball games.

7. My swimming pool.
